"What The West Coast Is Missing..."
Been writing songs since I was 15, been rapping since I was 16, been producing since I was 17, been trying to get signed since yesterday...To keep it brief, I'm not feelin the way rap has changed. I might use vulgar lyrics and mgiht be a little violent, but in the words of Russel Simmons..."A poet only writes about what he sees...". I think that gives me an advantage over most other female rappers because like some of my role models such as Da Brat, Shawna and Queen Latifah, I can rap like my male competitors without having to talk about sex or act like a ho. I find it to be especially harder as a woman to be taken seriously in this industry, but I find it to be quit a contradiction that I have written songs for guys and even ghostwritten for some hot rappers. So basically, dont sleep on ya girl..."Who said light skinned girls cant rap?"
